No mixing of households.

knackersknockersknickers · 05/12/2020 02:13

Yabu. We've just had a letter from the council expressly telling us this isn't allowed. We are tier 3 if that makes a difference.

Weekends · 05/12/2020 02:17

Unfortunately, YABU. It's not allowed.

CrazyCatLazy · 05/12/2020 02:17

The point is you as adults shouldn’t be mixing even though the kids are at school/nursery

ZaphodBeeblerox · 05/12/2020 02:23

Indoor or outdoor? We are doing garden play dates with kids in nursery bubble - which is allowed under the rules. But kids inevitably need to come in for the loo and a drink of water or a snack, and keeping it to just her nursery bubble feels like we are not increasing the risk.

Parents just stay in garden (we’ve got a marquee up) and pop in for the loo alone.

But I wouldn’t consider sleepovers. Not least because kids will definitely talk about it in school!

Indoor mixing of households isn't allowed in Tier 2.

DebbieFiderer · 05/12/2020 06:16

Nope, outdoor only. Unless you happen to be tier one or not in England. I'm hosting an outdoor birthday party today (all the same school bubble), we'll all freeze our asses off but we'll be obeying the law. It should have been a sleepover but we've had to adapt. Now I just have to hope my routine Covid test this morning (NHS twice weekly home testing) comes back negative 😂

Willyoujustbequiet · 05/12/2020 07:55

No its not allowed.

SingANewSongChickenTikka · 05/12/2020 07:55

No, not allowed and not sensible. Yes they mix in school but in order to keep things like that going we need to continue to reduce additional contact.

JellyStrudel · 05/12/2020 08:03

It is against the law

happylittlechick · 05/12/2020 08:15

Of course not. They might be mixing with each other at school but not with you or the rest of your family. You know play dates aren't allowed let alone sleepovers. Follow the rules
