To ask what to get my baby for christmas

My DD will be nearly 10 months by Christmas and I have no idea what to get her.

I know she will have no idea what's going on but I still want to have some things to wrap up- I'm sure she'll enjoy the paper.

What were your baby's favourite toys or books for around that age?! All ideas welcome!

A ball pool
A photo album full of pics from first year & Christmas
(I only did the photo album for my DD, other family got the ball pool etc for her but she loved it!!)

@LAgeDeRaisin

She's pretty mobile- stands and crawls but not quite talking steps
My baby is the same age. I've got her a fisher price my first pram and doll so she can push and walk and toys for 12-18 months

DS got a wooden walker with blocks in at that age, and some cogs and beads etc on the side he loved it when he was first walking and uses it now at two to run around the house as fast as he can collecting random things like some kind of weird supermarket sweep game. For his first birthday he also got a ride on/rocking dinosaur with his name on it from JoJo he still loves that too

My DD was 9mo for her first Christmas, and I think she got a ball pond, a couple of second hand Happy Land sets, some soft toys, some wooden puzzles and some books. She also got a light up Makka Pakka. Some of it was too old for her at the time but she grew into them (now 6).

DS was only 5mo for his first Christmas but we had to get him some things for DD's sake! And for mine, tbh. We still had a lot of stuff from DD (still do!) and I ended up wrapping some of her old stuff for him, but if it's your first that's not so easy! He got a few other things that he was too young for (bath toys, instruments) but he grew into them and still plays with some of them now at 2.

Oh yes, and DM got DD one of those pusher things, and PIL got her a stand up activity table (both Vtech I think). Lots of buttons and lights on both, and they encourage standing and walking.

Wrap up a very large box of balloons 😊
