To ask for Polish MN help!

What’s the best thing to write in a Christmas card to a Polish family that you are reasonably close with?

So far I’ve got: Zyczymy Wesołych Śwįat

Is this ok? Is there a better way to write it? Don’t want to make a ridiculous English mistake!

Maybe add Bożego Narodzenia if they’re religious.

Oh also, just to pick your brains more - is it ok to write the ‘to so and so’ and from us in English? Because now I’m thinking about it maybe not.

It’s one of DD’s friend from nursery so I’d like to get it right!

Who are you actually addressing the card to,whole family or only DD’s friend?

Just noticed your “ Śwįat” - it should be Świąt. It’s the “a” that has an accent not the “i”.

I’d say Kochani X, Y and Z - means “beloved”.

It’s a fair point - who are you addressing it too?

I’d say:

Kochana Magdo (one female),

Życzymy Ci (you) Wesołych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia i Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku,

The Smiths

Or

Kochani (you plural) Magdo, Tomku i Zuziu,
