Would your life be better if you had:

A personal assistant who did all your shopping and arranged all your appointments

A personal trainer who took you out 3 times a day

Regular salon appointments for hair and nails

A personal chef who provided all meals, snacks and cooked for you

Never having to work a day in your life and just expecting all the above

OP it might be your perfect life but I'd be bored in a week. YABVU.

A dog's primary instinct is to do whatever it's pack are doing, preferably lying about for most of the day.

A cat's primary instinct is to please it's damn well self.

Most dogs and cats do get to do this.

I agree with you regarding caged animals though.

Having clean nails, manicured is 'vulgar' the dirty muddy look is not for me. Perhaps she means 'fake nails' as in acrylics etc as vulgar?

Maybe the last option of having all these things done for me and never have to work. I do admit it would be a bit of a cheat as I would still 'work' but focus on what I can do that makes me happy rather then worry about the financial gain. I would love to do focus my time on my writing, having the time to actually help out with the charities I care about, and more time to look after the family and home etc

I've never liked dogs. Spoilt brats I'll be one though....

Just to clarify, if people want to "get their nails done" that is their personal choice.
My personal opinion is that most of the "results" are not very attractive.

I'd take a cleaner, someone to do all the laundry and a pa to do all my dull life admin like insurance quotes. But I like my job, so I'll keep that, thanks. And I like cooking, when I get the time. Having a cleaner and a pa would give me the time, so that would be nice.

My dog has a charmed life I think, I wfh so she hangs out in my office with me on a super fluffy cosy bed, gets plenty of walks because I need the time away from my desk, and all the cuddles she could dream of. Pretty sure she has more toys than my kids too.

@FraughtwithGin you do know you can get lovely, natural nails done...they're not all 2 inch long, fluorescent pink, glittery talons?

I am sure that is the case, but I see no merit in paying someone to file my nails for me ;-)

I’d like to have a yoga teacher come to my house a few times a week for private classes. That would be a lovely luxury.

A cleaner would be great too.

Tbf as much as I'd like to have the salon appointments I don't usually even pay someone to cut my hair so I can't talk !

A bit strange.. why would anyone want a trainer 3 times a day? There aren’t many people I’d want to see 3 times in the same day.

I don’t work and can spend what I want. I don’t have a personal chef at home! As my kids are grown up, what would I do if I didn’t cook?!

So embarrassed I didn’t read the whole thread! My cats live the life of Riley and yea I play with them 3 times a day!

No! One thing I can’t do is spend time sitting on my butt doing nothing! I try to relax and do nothing but I’m not built that way! I need tasks, I need routine and I need things to do.

Wouldn’t mind a chef though! DH is limited to what he can cook!
