To ask if health visitors check social media?

Trying to keep this vague as it could be outing if the people involved are on MN.

A person from my hometown has posted a picture on Facebook of their child with excrement on their face, alongside a status explaining they came downstairs like that after going to the toilet alone and how funny they thought this was. I don’t know the person but they went to the same secondary school as my cousin who has screenshot it and sent it to me. The post has obviously not gone down well and the poster has received a lot flack for it. I believe the poster has been very dismissive to people who have posted their concerns saying that the child is only small and it was just supposed to be a funny light hearted status. They don’t accept that it was very inappropriate to post a photo of this online.

My cousin has heard from a mutual friend that health visitors check social media, so thinks this will be flagged, but I have never heard of this? My own health visitor has never mentioned this to me but I’m in a different area so wasn’t sure if this was something other areas did. Can anyone shed some light?
