“Occasional evening and weekend travel” in a job ad?

Am a single mum, work hard and long hours (inc at my desk at home in the evenings whilst little one sleeps), and my current role preCovid involves some travel- overnights maybe 4 times a year, late nights in other cities maybe another 2-3 other nights a year, a couple of weekends away and a solid 2 week period annually when Im locked away with project delivery and work almost literally 24/7 so equivalent to travel- might as well be travel to another planet. My mum and DC dad look after DC at these times.

I don’t think I could travel more than I do now without running into childcare issues.

So I’m a bit at sea really- would you say that “occasional travel” is more than I’m doing now? Less?

They offer TOIL for this, so cant imagine it’s loads as the job is one that really would need office hours, and it’s impossible to see how you could do it if you were taking TOIL every week... but who knows!?

It’s my dream job, and SO hoping this isn’t going to be a fly in the ointment... Help!

It's entirely reasonable to ask the question - at interview if you can't get an answer in advance of applying. It might mean a couple of weekends a year, or it might be monthly.
