To wait to test until in at least 6 days late?

I'm officially 3 days late. In the summer I had one cycle that was 33 days (they're between 26-27 days). AIBU to at least wait til day 33 this time? I have a copper coil BTW and have around the same symptoms (I'm sure they're psychosomatic).

No dress yet! Had my first appointment at the bridal shop in a few weeks. We have our date set at the registry (in April) but I'd be showing by then so hopefully we can love it forward to ASAP

Congratulations! What happens about your coil?

Fressia123 · 18/11/2020 17:28

No idea waiting for the GP to call

If you're pregnant with an IUD, they'll want to scan you early, because it increases the risk of an ectopic pregnancy.

And if they don't mention it, you should ask!

The chances are that it's fine (and I hope it may be so!) but not worth messing around.

They'll see me tomorrow and check my strings. DP thinks the line is too faint to get excited

Hmm that's very faint for a missed period.

That's usually what they look like days before a missed period.

I'd proceed with caution if you're late on your period and there's a coil involved.

It was negative this morning.and the GPs came back as "inconclusive". Still no period but I'm.getring a horrible headache and fatigue.

I'm really sorry OP, it sounds like it may be a chemical pregnancy or early loss. I would expect the line to be a lot darker once you're late.
I'm really sorry, everything crossed for you I'm wrong.

It wouldn't be my first. I had one in Oct 2018, exactly one year later (same day I lost that baby who we call "Squinty") our 13mo was born :)
