No ethnic minority playmobil families?

I've just been looking for a gift on the Playmobil site, was very disappointed I could not find any non-white family groups.

I bought DD a Playmobil pirate ship about 7 years ago and the pirates weren't white, so I assumed I'd just be able to get a mix of skin tones in the rest of the range. When I bought the pirate ship, I had generously assumed Playmobil was a nice company that actually decided it was great to have a WHOLE set of characters who weren't white, but now I'm thinking, perhaps Playmobil just thought the white Playmobil people would have got sun-tanned sitting out on deck of their ship all day. Oh dear!

Does anyone else find this weird? Most other toy manufacturers seem to be doing a better job eg Lego Friends.

AIBU to want to send an email to Playmobil asking them to please join the 21st century?

Specifically a play mobile one? I have got dolls like this but they are dollies but wasn’t there some in ELC?

Sorry I meant like a general baby doll type thing. For my mixed race niece. So was just saying in general it can be hard to get this stuff. But actually play mobil is a great idea. These examples are fab thanks.

Have you tried Babipur? They have a good range of cuddly baby dolls with different skin tones, also rag dolls and various brands of ethically diverse doll families.

Oh no they didn't come up when searching I'll look thank you. They live in a not very diverse area and because of covid she hasn't been to the temple this year where she would see other Indian people. Or any other early years groups. And there's no other Asian kids at nursery her dad's family live abroad so although they do lots of video chars. The family she sees are white. So we're just trying to make brown skin normal (as it is!)

I did get a lovely book called mixed about mixing paint colours but a good way of starting to talk about ethnicity.
