I am standing in the kitchen appalled at how rude she is being.

She is not Laura Kuenssberg - this is not a political interrogation, but a teasing out of the guest’s personality with music choice.

I feel like complaining - but don’t know how. She is a terrible host anyway, you can tell she’s reading off a bit of paper - very wooden.

They should hire me! I like talking to people and wouldn’t snipe at guests I didn’t approve of....

I've just listened and LL initially seemed hostile and then bored. She was quite curt. She's generally woeful on DID - she's a presenter but DID needs a skilled interviewer.

I thought Keir Starter came across well. It was moving to hear him talk about his parents.

And I think cynicism about his music choices is misplaced. As a football fan Three Lions would bring back fabulous memories for English football fans. And he explained why he chose the Stormzy/Grenfell Bridge Over Troubled Water version - his kids are Stormzy fans.

I thought she was awful and on the offensive from the outset.
She started off by saying she wasn’t going to stray into political topics and wanted to learn more about him... then spent most of her time picking on controversial items in attempts to discredit or even ridicule him, it seemed to me.
I thought he handled her brilliantly. As you would expect. He was self deprecating and positive.

Thank you for hearing it the same as I did! I was very unimpressed with LL and had a good mind to complain (not that I ever have done or any good it would do...).
