Will.i.am..what was he on about?

Did anyone see him on Loose women today? He was saying how 2024 will be very different and by 2030, life will be completely unrecognisable from what we know now.
Anyone else see it and wonder what he’s going on about?

My eldest DD was diagnosed with ADHD in 2012, at the age of 7. At the time, she was bullied a lot for it. I remember discussing some famous people with ADHD with her, and she was aware that Will.I.Am was someone successful who also had ADHD - or rather he is most likely successful because of his ADHD to be perfectly honest.
She's now 15 and the past couple of years have been horribly tough for her. She is so aware that she finds it so much harder to cope with school than her peers, has no friends at school, and just generally often feels incredibly low about herself and her worth.
I will be showing her this clip in the morning, and I'm hopeful she will see the possibilities, the scope of what she can accomplish, and the hope that there are others out there who work hard in order to give girls like her the tools to accomplish their dreams.

I'm waffling, but it really made me smile - made me tear up a bit too truthfully. Again, thank you.

I do think Miriam plays up the batty old lady a bit too much.

He does a lot of panels and talks at tech events. He’s deeply interested in areas such as AI and machine learning. Another rapper turned tech investor is AKon. Ashton Kucher is also a Silicon Valley investor. You’ll see all of these three regularly invited to speak at tech events.

I’ve got a feeling he was tweeting at the same time too.

I only ever see Loose Women at my mum's house and it seriously gets on my wick, but amidst all the inane yakking, I was somehow drawn to that segment with Will.i.am. He came across as a very engaging and genuine man who wanted to use his success to help others. And his concerns about the future automation of society are very valid. I don't know much about him, but now feel weirdly compelled to find out.

But those goggles .... what the hell? They were like windows. I was sitting there pondering whether they were plain glass or if they had an actual prescription. Double glazed varifocals maybe?

Am off to watch the Graham Norton clip now.
