AIBU to think my partner is selfish

Oh there are million things I could put here, but this one takes the whole cake factory for me right now. During tea our DS (6) managed to bang his foot, much screaming and tears follow. I got 'sent' to deal with him, he had bruised and scraped a toe. So lots of cuddles sorted it. My partner is apparently mad at me and DS for disturbing his tea after his hard day at work. Like I wasn't being disturbed either, and like I don't have a full time job either (currently working from home), and like our DS must have done it on purpose and not just had an accident. AIBU, but I am so mad with my partner right now for having no compassion or understanding.

It doesn’t depend on just this 1 thing. Is he often like this, or is it just a 1-off?

If it’s a 1-off I’d put it down to being overtired and needing a good sleep.
If it’s happening all the time, that’s a different story.

Sent?

Oldbutstillgotit · 13/11/2020 17:43

You were sent ?

marylou75 · 13/11/2020 17:47

Yep 'sent'... Got told to deal with it even though I was actually on the way already. And no not the only occasion of such ridiculousness

Well yes, he certainly sounds it.

flaviaritt · 13/11/2020 17:55

Obviously he is the unreasonable one. You are unreasonable for accepting being ‘sent’ anywhere.

Ask him "Who died and made you King of the Universe, you unfeeling beast?!"
