I think it depends. Are you in Gretna? Are you in a tourist location rather than a big city?

It shouldn’t matter how many customers you have as long as the shop is following social distancing guidelines.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 09/11/2020 08:40

I thought people weren't supposed to travel to Scotland from England or NI but then it is very difficult keeping up with the rules that seem to change almost daily.

Do customers have to wear masks in your shop?
Do you wear a mask in your shop?
If so I think you'll probably be fine.

One assumes you are you only selling ESSENTIAL items - such as...
a doll in kilt where one can conceal a roll of toilet paper,
a toy cat playing bagpipes,
Tam o' Shanter (with red hair sticking out)
Pet haggis,
Tartan mug.

Edinburgh, yes following face coverings and distancing, but they have travelled from NE England

Edinburgh yes is touristy but it’s also a big city. I think it’s wrong for these people to have travelled that far really.

@louisetrees

That's good to know, I need a new Nessie hot water bottle.
