New lockdown -what are you doing about cleaners in your house?

I realise in the last lockdown we paid our cleaner throughout to NOT come in.... and that this lockdown, we are envisaging having her cleaning our house throughout.

What are you doing? What risks do you envisage? And are you limiting what they do or don't do?

Coming in as usual.

Mine is coming. I’ll be out.

The government guidelines specifically say it is fine for cleaners to continue.

Still coming. We don’t go into the same room as her, and we keep the windows slightly open. She is here for six hours (does ironing too) and comes on a weekday, so it wouldn’t be feasible for us to go out whilst she is here.

@OMITB

Willingly risking - however small the risk - serious illness or even death for a mopped floor doesn't seem worth it to me 🤷‍♀️
By that logic you wouldn't ever have a cleaner - after all, covid-19 isn't actually (despite how some people are acting) the world's first communicable disease so there's always been a risk - however small - that you'll catch a disease that proves fatal from your cleaner. You presumably actually mean you think the risk is unacceptably large, not that it's not worth any risk whatsoever, as absolutely no human activity (including sitting at home in your favourite chair) would pass that test

Mine is coming as normal. I shut myself away in the office to work while she is here anyway.
