Aibu to find hotel stays overrated?

Dp has arranged a night in a hotel tonight, we've had a lovely day child free. Walked along the coast, it's really been lovely.

But aibu to just want my own bed? I don't really understand nights away in a hotel.

The hotel is nice, but I really don't want to hear the next room's occupants shagging or their tv through their walls whilst squeezed into a tiny double bed with dp.
Trying not to be ungrateful but I can't help but think how nice it would be to be in my child free home.

I love staying in hotels but I don't do it very often. Went to one last year for my parents wedding anniversary but before that it's about 8 years ago. I love the fact that food is provided (no cooking), the fact I don't have to clean and have a lovely bed to sleep in.
However my husband is like you and much prefers being at home in his own bed (probably because he doesn't do any cooking or cleaning)!
