What are you doing for Halloween this year? 🎃

Obviously trick or treating isn't on the cards. We're going to carve a pumpkin and have a treasure hunt for some treats. Then the DC are having a friend over for a little party. For dinner we are having pumpkin pizzas (english muffin, red leicester cheese and a basil leaf for the stalk) and we've made a spider web cake. Then we're going to play some games - apple bobbing, sweet on a flour mountain and trying to eat a donut hung on a string! I also have some scratch art sugar skulls for them. We've got a few small fireworks as a suprise at the end.

What are you up to?

Baking a black cat shaped cat, Halloween pancakes for breakfast, bobbing for apples, watching Ghostbusters and Hocus Pocus, doing a hunt for Halloween figures around the house and I bought a Halloween ‘would you rather’ book as a bit of fun too.

We’ve done pumpkins and decorated the house. I’ve hidden sweets around the house and got him a bucket a bit like Easter for the morning. We will watch some spooky films, I’ve bought a piñata and some games like pin the smile on the skeleton and I’m doing a spooky party buffet for the three of us for dinner. Hoping to make it a bit special despite the restrictions as we normally have a big party. I’ll let him stay up late and maybe break out some of the sparklers for bonfire night and do hot choc late with marshmallows

Very similar.
We will dress up.
Garden treasure hunt ending in the summerhouse for some slime making.
Dooking.
Mummy toilet roll game to turn daddy into mummy hahaha.
Syrupy pancake eating.
Dancing to Monster Mash.
Potion making.
Monster face pizzas.
A mini bonfire to toast marshmallows and probably Casper the movie to finish.
We all need a bit of fun and silliness right now so going a bit ott.

Neighbourhood walk to see all the decorations people have put up, then cake and biscuits (halloween themed). May do something samhain themed if DC wants to join in, otherwise I'll just make a quiet half hour and do something witchy on my own.
