For the first time I will have a week without the kids next year February half term and two dreaded weeks in summer ,L not great weather wise February but I will miss them so much so want to do something but I have never been away on my own? To recharge somewhere in U.K. but not south coast lol as I’ve been loads and even lived down there so so somewhere different, I’ve Never been away on my own. Is it a bad idea? Will people think I’m Billy no mates ? I just fancy somewhere quiet and 😌 any brave women done it before and where would you recommend ?

I love going away on my own and have done it several times overseas so I'd think nothing of this under normal circumstances. You can learn and see things under your own steam on your own without having to cater for others, its brilliant.

I'd just pick somewhere you've never been before.

You may have to play it by ear a bit though depending on how the COVID situation is by then.

Under normal circumstances I'd say go abroad and at least have a warmer climate to enjoy whilst sipping your holiday coffee!

I've travelled quite a bit alone and tbh as long as you're sensible it's totally safe and great fun! And quite possibly for that time of year, cheaper abroad than in the UK (obviously pre covid).

If you'd be done the South Coast and now wish for elsewhere, if wanting sleepy I'd head towards Norfolk or if a walker somewhere like the Lakes or Wales....

But personally I'd want warmer weather in February lol....
