I don't know what my child learns at school...

Do any of you actually know what your Y1 child learns at school? The teacher never speaks to the parent, we haven't had parent evening yet and all parents wonder what the kids actually learns. The school is outstanding ( ofsted).

Just wanted to know if its normal to not know what the kids learn at school and which subjects they have each day?

There’s a timetable on the class page and the homework gives it away a bit and the school newsletter says which each year group has been doing which is enough info for me, the teacher is fab with any queries re class behaviour etc via email so all good.

There is no timetable at the school website. They get weekly english homework but no spelling or math homework.

I will ask for more details at parent evening. Thanks for all the replies.
