To be so completely discussed with the man saying his wife chose to be killed because she cheated.

I feel like I should have sympathy but It's the opitomy of Narcissistism. Children are parentless because of his pride and he's crying to them like a baby on TV! Get a divorce, take responsibility for your own actions/reactions. Don't blame someone for your fucked up decisions. It really turns my stomach.

Lots of people have hurt me so very badly and strangely there all alive. Really wish I hadn't watched that 😢

Your title sounds like a husband complaining that he didn't like his wife's choice of sofa.
Maybe you could have been clearer for those who wish to avoid threads like these

Bailey0703 · 24/10/2020 18:33

Regardless of there being any proof of adultery... he is a cold blooded killer.

Last time I looked, capital punishment for adultery was not statute in any civilised countries law code.

... and where it is - the countries that condone this type of behaviour are basket cases wrapping up laws in misogynistic , patriarchy... thinly disguised as 'religion' interpreted my fuckers with not a brain cell between them.

DumplingsAndStew · 24/10/2020 18:35

Those poor poor children. How vile that the press have released this video, those kids should never have to hear that

caughtalightsneeze · 24/10/2020 18:41

if you decide to cheat on someone, rather than have the decency to end your relationship with them first, you know you are playing with fire

Call me cynical if you like, but I don't think that cold blooded killers (and possibly paranoid as well - I had skim read the article and didn't quite catch the bit about there not actually being any proof of her having cheated on him, only his word) like him would just say 'ah, she wants to split up with me that's fine. Oh look, she has a new boyfriend, I hope they are happy'.

Ending the relationship and starting a new one is no guarantee of safety from men like this.

mbosnz · 24/10/2020 18:44

I thought crime of passion had been removed as a defence in most civilised countries?

You find out your partner is doing the dirty on you, you LTB, taking them for all that you possibly can, sewing prawns in the curtains on your way out, and maybe keying their car.

You don't murder your children's mother or father, thereby depriving them of both parents as you are now in jail, dealing with adult shit that they should never have been exposed to.

Mustbe3ormorecharacters · 24/10/2020 18:49

Not read the full thread so someone else may have brought this up but do we even know she cheated? Someone who justifies murder so easily probably shouldn’t be trusted.
I’m not surprised more Americans are killing for less.

Hailtomyteeth · 24/10/2020 19:14

"I warned her not to mess with me."

He's nasty, even for a man! Where do people get these ideas?

Inaseagull · 24/10/2020 19:16

According to other news sources, she was his 'estranged' wife and he lay in ambush in a relatives house (I'm guessing her Mother's house as she was with her at the time they arrived home).

DefinitelyPossiblyMaybe · 24/10/2020 19:18

if you decide to cheat on someone, rather than have the decency to end your relationship with them first, you know you are playing with fire you are obviously unaware that the most dangerous time for a woman leaving her partner is exactly when she tries to end the relationship.

Very worrying that 12% think YABU. Even if she was having an affair (and there's no proof) that doesn't excuse violence and murder. He's utter utter scum.

Cassilis · 24/10/2020 19:22

@contrmary is being contrary on a coupla threads it seems

Storyoftonight · 24/10/2020 19:29

@contrmary

Not sure what you're talking about, but as a principle (rather than your specific case) it's understandable, to an extent, that a partner who has been cheated upon reacts very badly to their unfaithful partner. Your point "don't blame someone for your fucked up decisions" applies equally to the partner who cheated - if you decide to cheat on someone, rather than have the decency to end your relationship with them first, you know you are playing with fire.

Not that cheating excuses murder, but there is a reason sentences are lighter for someone who kills in a fit of passion than a cold, calculating person who kills for the enjoyment of it.

What????!
BreakfastOfWaffles · 24/10/2020 19:34

What a truly appalling situation. I believe the total inability to accept responsibility for your crimes, and constantly blaming other people for your own failures is a common trait amongst murderers and rapists.

PicsInRed · 24/10/2020 19:35
Precisely.

Rule #1 of breaking up with a narcissistic twat - "here comes the smear campaign". He won't even stop abusing her (and the kids) once he's murdered her.

He's pathetic and ridiculous.

Words fail me. This was premeditated and not a fit of passion. He killed her because he lost control over her.

This vile specimen couldn’t give a shit about his children or what he’d just done. Crocodile tears and complaints of a bad hair day.

stackemhigh · 24/10/2020 19:45

@PicsInRed similar to what Chris Watts did to Shanann Watts. Killed his wife and two young daughters and then said he killed her because she was strangling the children. Total bullshit, he couldn’t even let her be remembered as a good mum.

GroundAlmonds · 24/10/2020 19:47

What are you talking about OP?

FleetsumNLangCleg · 24/10/2020 19:48

Ignore the murder excuser. Do an advanced search. Someone has just signed up and is enjoying setting off fireworks.

GroundAlmonds · 24/10/2020 19:48

Froth troll then?

slashlover · 24/10/2020 20:04

Froth troll then?

I remember the name, they said on another thread that supermarket workers often deserved the abuse they got from customers.
