Feel like no-one likes me

Posting in AIBU for traffic.

I just feel like I push everyone away, I upset people or constantly feel like people don't like me.

My two sister in laws keep meeting up without me and even though I've asked to join, I'm never included. I just feel like my sister in law hates me.

I just feel so down and sad. I recently lost my best friend and feel like I have no one to turn to. I have a really good group of friends but I am always second guessing myself.

I always feel like the odd one out or like I don't fit in?

Not even sure why I'm posting. I feel exhausted just thinking about things.

If they're your SILs then it would make sense for them to meet up without you - you're not their sister. I wouldn't even think to invite SILs when I meet up with DSis. Not because I dislike them but because they aren't my sister. Even if they asked to come, I'd be a bit put out because I enjoy spending time with my sister one-on-one and not have someone who has married into the family there all the time.
I think you've hit the nail on the head in your post. You FEEL LIKE no one likes you. It's in your head and people who think others don't like them tend to make other people not like them by being paranoid and obsessive and hot-and-cold. People like you. People like nice people. People liked Hitler! How bad could you possibly be compared to Hitler? Of course people like you!
Everyone feels like they're the odd one out who doesn't fit in. It's because we do and say and think weird things inside our heads but keep them inside our heads. Then, we don't see anyone else doing or saying or thinking those things (because they keep it inside their heads) so we think we're weird. Everything thinks they're weird. You're not weird.
Just relax. Invite one of SILs out for coffee and see what they say. Don't make a big deal of it - just "hey, do you fancy getting a coffee on Tuesday?". Don't overreact if she says no - she might be busy or overwhelmed or skint until payday. Don't panic if she doesn't respond straight away - some people just don't, some people read things and forget to reply etc. Just relax. People like you and you're not weird.

I'm really sorry about your friend OP, that's absolutely awful. It can be really easy for grief to morph into depression without you noticing, and the negative way you're writing about yourself does sound like you're not thinking entirely rationally, do you think it might be worth speaking to your GP about a bit of extra support?
