Liverpool. I was born here, always lived here and never plan on leaving. I love to travel around the UK but always love to come home. T
Liverpool gets such a bad press at times but it's got beautiful buildings, rich cultural heritage and such a strong sense of pride amongst the people. I could write an essay on all the great things about Liverpool. I love my city!

Gloucestershire.
People are friendly.
Good size town with great indoor and outdoor food markets.
Canal, woods and endless beautiful valleys with hidden lakes.
Close to Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Swindon.
Not far from London, and not hard to get up North, to Wales or to Cornwall.
So beautiful and green.
Arty, down to earth. I live walking distance to town, but from garden I can hear birds and the odd train more often than cars.

East London. Love it. The sense of community, ease of access to everything including the city as well as being on the edge of lovely countryside (as PP said Essex countryside is beautiful), job opportunities, energy, not having to fit in, always something fun happening somewhere (pre-pandemic), ambition, optimism, looking forwards instead of backwards, welcoming people from wherever and outstanding schools for the kids means DH and I love where we live and he’s originally from Melbourne, often voted the worlds most liveable city (we visit often and may move there for a while so the kids are exposed to both sides of their culture).

Our pocket of London came into its own during lockdown. It’s so self contained that we hardly ever leave now we’re both WFH.

Another U.K. city I love is Liverpool. Always have a good time there and I have a thing for the Scouse accent.

Think I know where you are.

my dc have friends there and I have to say driving up and down some of the roads on theside of the valley is terrifying!
But apart from that it is a lovely town.
Good rail links too.

Norfolk....beautiful countryside....gorgeous coast line....affordable housing and lovely and safe to bring up children...and Norwich is the best city in the UK.
