To get uncomfortable eyes watching Claudia Winkelman?

Her fringe is right in her eyes! It makes me so uncomfortable. I keep blinking and trying to sweep my own hair out of my eyes. I don’t even have a fringe.

Was it just me or did Tess somehow look different tonight?

I've been in the audience for strictly. Claudia and Tess were both eye rolling and taking the piss out of the other's outfit between takes, it was clear they didnt choose them but didnt give much of a shit, they genuinely seemed to just be having a laugh.

Her fringe is too long and needs a cut. However she has such beautiful, healthy, shiny hair. I wish mine looked that healthy!

Agree, her fringe is the only annoying thing about her. I love her shiny hair and bubbly personality- just not the fringe. Want to scrape it to one side to make her feel more comfortable! Makes my nose itch!

She's one of my favourite women on television. She's quirky, quick witted and unique....and you're slamming her about her fringe? Really?

I heart Claudia. I had stopped listening to the off menu podcast but she was on it recently and she was just fantastic.

I love her and I want her to be my friend.

I think her eye surgery was in 2010, lenses inserted so maybe she had cataract surgery. She said she hides all kinds of things under her fringe.

It bothers me to see it in her eyes, looks so uncomfortable.

She’s made the point in lots of interviews that she doesn’t want to be judged on her looks, or given roles because she was ‘sexy’ so made a conscious decision years ago to be “the orange one with the fringe” as that’s much more liberating. I love that she made such a forward-thinking choice (she channels an imaginary Frenchman call Yves for her “look”) and it all adds to her brilliant persona.

It's her trademark look now isn't it? I'm so used to seeing her like that that when I saw her presenting something looking like this, it was actually her voice I recognised first!

I do wonder what make up remover she uses though, it must be good!

I don’t know whether she was joking but she said a while back that she hates her forehead and that’s why she always has a fringe. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway whatever she’s great, she’s funny and she lights up the show IMO.

It is known that Claudia hates her forehead for some reason, she has mentioned it several times on TV. Her outfit tonight was shiny and quite awful, it looked cheap. but probably cost a fortune. And again, she has mentioned on TV, that she can't dress like TESS, as she doesn't much like her own figure.

I don’t usually like to pass comment on looks, but: sweet jaysus on an electric scooter, CW’s appearance has always freaked me out. Brrrrrrrrgh. It’s always so orangey-shiny-just-not-quite-right-somehow.

I LOVE Claudia - but her bring makes me feel physically edgy. I can can "feel" it irritating my own eyes.

Yes - it's her choice, but it doesn't mean I have to like it, nor does it mean I can't comment on it.

I have eczema and am well aware that it makes some people itchy just to look at my skin. It doesn't offend me that they feel like that, and I'm sure that at least some of them comment to friends about it.

Yes, it certainly wasn’t my intention to be bitchy. I literally have a sensory reaction to her hair and wondered if others felt similarly. It’s far less in the spirit to call other women a ‘bunch of bitches’

It’s her style she has always had a long fringe I like her style (not necessarily her clothes on Strictly)

I love CW on other programs and on the radio she is very clever and quick witted but find she tries too hard being quirky on Strictly. She seemed far more relaxed last night thankfully less frantic

No idea why she think it looks great - she must be struggling to see through that!
