I am having a smear Tuesday and swabs. Drs have been really slow and unhelpful with an ongoing issue. When I described weakness and fatigue over a year ago they decided I was anxious. Eventually they realised I was very very anemic. No reserves. I've been battling it on and off since.

I've had heavy bruised feelings on and off deep in my pelvis and around the womb area. My left ovary area often feels flared up. It is twingy and sore. I've had a scan and it was clear. HPV swab was clear last year.

I wrote a post a few days ago. But basically on Sunday I was doing a plank to try tone up my core. I felt a painful twinge go through my left ovary and stopped after just ten seconds of excercise. I went to start cooking tea and felt a cold wet feeling in my underwear. I went upstairs and saw blood on my lady parts. I got tissue and wiped away loads of bloody dischsrge. This continued for hours. Then over the next two days I got brown spotting. But the ovary and womb area has continued to feel bruised and irritated. My right ovary area also keeps doing little stabs and just feel I could cause more problems if I move wrong. I also have a mild painless ache in my lower back and have had tailbone pain for months.

I haven't had a proper smear before. Just HPV tests.

I've had one sexual partner in ten years. Two children. Used condoms for three years etc.

I have regular fatigue. Random mild nausea with no pattern. I've lost weight. Approx 9 lb in two months. But I sometimes just have little appetite especially on bad period days or when I get hormonal headaches.

I'm sorry this post is long. I know it's abit boring but I'm hoping some ladies could share with me any similar experiences and what if turned out to be.

My drs struggle with me because they can't seem to handle me having more than one issue. They throw anxiety at me too much when clearly I have something going on in my body.

So please share what you think. I posted here for traffic.

Hi op . I feel you.

I've had loads of gyny probs over the years also had ovary twinges ut turned out I had a dermoid cyst on one ovary that had slowly grown over many years and was the size if a grapefruit and had grown out onto a kind of stalk and that's what the pain was the stalk getting twisted .
Yes to anemia to am still battling it years after forst starting iron tablets . I suspect I will have it until I hit menopause.
I'm sure it will all be fine try not to worry

Sorry forgot to say I to had no luck at drs for years being fobbed off with anxiety also that seems to be the go to for them .
Keep pushing them and get a second opinion if you are not happy

My honest experience has been female OBGYNs are virtually pointless but male OBGYNs are incredible. If your drs are female, I'd ask for a man. It's the ONLY time I have ever felt that one gender significant outplays the other in any professional environment but my hypothesis is that male OBGYNs work extra hard to be good because they're ultra-aware of not having those body parts whereas female OBGYNs just expect to be experts because they have vaginas.

It just shows how experiences can be different doesn't it, because the 3 females I have had have been brilliant. The 1 male was shockingly awful.

Back to OP I would ask your GP for a referral because it's not on for all your problems to be put down to anxiety.

OP as much as I hate going to the gynaecologist, I have never encountered one that wasn't kind (seen 5 so far).

The one that delivered my baby could see that I was nervous and shared some of her own experiences of being pregnant with me besides the obvious medical advice.
Most doctors are perfectly nice and there to help you, just don't let them tell you it's anxiety and ask (demand!) a referral as pp have said. Wishing you all the best and good health xxx

Took me around 15 years and lots of scans to finally get a diagnosis of fibroids and endometriosis.

Now waiting for an appointment for a pain clinic which I don’t even need at the moment (as my issues come and go)

I think you have to be very persistent to get anywhere in some cases!
