To book a holiday abroad for May half term?

I mean, I know no-one really knows. But I've worked throughout this crappy year, with only four wet days in Wales to sustain me. I'd bloody love to book a week in Croatia, Neilson resort, at half term. Would you risk it?

If I can’t go on my trips I can’t go - I’m prepared for that - so there wouldn’t be much disappointment! Plus there are very good deals available right now!
Loads of companies will be fine - like if you book with Ba for example - I really doubt they will go bust.
Probably would be careful about booking packages with other budget airlines though.

We have booked a trip to Europe for next May. It’s nice to have something to look forward to. I don’t mind if masks are still involved then. We were in Mexico at the end of September and had to wear masks all the way there and back. Inconvenient but worth it to be able to get away.

I wouldn't book anything for Easter at all next year, I might in theory book for May half term nearer the time depending how March/April go.

I am expecting to book a longish summer holiday staying at my parents' place abroad as it's somewhere that has managed coronavirus well and was accessible all this summer so I expect it to be next year, but flights booked well in advance will be cheap enough to lose in JIC.

I've got easter and October booked for 2021 - moved from 2020. With a major ABTA Company so not worried about £. But not sure we will be going at Easter....again.....

Hmm, it's as I feared and knew really, it's just not worth the angst.
I love the thought of something to look forward to but I can't afford to see the money disappear if a company goes bust. I'll keep my money safe and I guess go last minute if a miracle happens.
Realistically it feels better to have cash in the bank at the moment with all the lockdown uncertainty. Strange times!
