To ask for some distracting stories/CF incidents whilst I am waiting for results of a fetal anomaly test

I have posted before about becoming pregnant at 43, having had cancer and been told i am in infertile - except I am not as I am 12 weeks today.

I am awaiting the results for the Vision Total anomoly test and am just so utterly distracted by it I can't focus on ANYTHING. If the results come back with something serious I know we have some decisions to make (and I know not all disabilities can be identifed too before anyone starts) but I just feel the baby has got so far, and is already so much of a baby it would break my heart but that medical termination would have to be considered.

With this in mind, can anyone distract me with some anecdotes from their CF databanks that would keep my brain occupied..?

Glad all is well OP, my CF is this...my skanky druggy neighbour who I strongly suspect broke into my house last year (CCTV looks suspiciously like him and someone said they saw him) knocked on my door asking if he could have my internet password to use iy from his house to apply for a job. I laughed and said no and he had a go at me for not giving him a chance. No mate you had tour chance before you became a gobshite now feck off.

@LampGenie congratulations on your baby boy and being a mum in her 40's!

I plan to ttc soon when I'll be 40 so your post is an inspiration thank you.

Thanks all. Really appreciate the good wishes :) :)

The family were all a little shocked (or maybe that was silent and unable to process for a minute or two - can't remember)... and our DC thought we were joking... Very, very excited now tho :)
