To ask you to tell me why I should lose weight

I hate my weight. I'm so fat since having a baby. I feel shit, I'm uncomfortable, tired, self-conscious. I'm not myself. After six months I have finally decided to do something about it and start a low-carb plan on Wednesday, have ordered multivitamins to help with my energy and plan on drinking a lot more water and exercising more. BUT I really don't want to slip. So, I was wondering if it was possible for people to post comments telling me why I should lose weight, the benefits or even roasting me, so that I can come back and read this thread when I am lacking determination.

Please, be as mean as possible.

Because you’re more likely to die from covid if you’re overweight. That’s inventive enough for me. Good luck

Don't focus on losing 7 stone. Set yourself small goals, e. g. Lose 1 point off your bmi, then another, move from obese to over weight etc. Reduce portion size and cut down on refined sugars and carbs. Enjoy feeling hungry. Experiment with fasting. Losing weight is a much a state of mind as a physical process. Good luck.

Because if you are overweight it encourages other ailments and illnesses to pop up and you have an obligation to stay around for as long as possible, within your power, for your child.

They deserve you to put the effort in to keeping yourself alive as long as possible, not self destructing yourself when you have a child.

This is really sad. Being healthy and exercising and living well should come from a place of love, not hate. You need to change your attitude, you deserve to be healthy and you deserve to have time to plan what to eat and to exercise. You can’t see it as a punishment or a shameful thing.
