I just tried to book at Tesco but they have suspended their paid service due to high demand (free ones still available to those eligible). 😭 I’ve tried Lloyd’s Pharmacy (have to register an email address and they will tell you when available); Boots (not available); Superdrug (stock not yet in for paid fly jabs); no Asda near here. Where next?!

lurker101 · 27/09/2020 23:16

I got mine at work, but just booked one about 15 minutes ago for bf at our local Lloyds chemist for 1 October - loads of availability. Neither are “key workers”.

@Tuliptulip you should be okay with Lloyds, I registered last week and got the invite a couple of days later to book and there was loads of availability in my local chemist

I booked Tesco last week and it’s this week. Am over 50 but GP surgery had no idea when I would get one.

You need to ring around pharmacy but you will need to pay.
Unfortunately this year more and more people want them. GP surgeries order them a year in advance based on the criteria for last year. This year a lot more people are eligible and they don’t have enough.
The 50-64 will be able to get the from the GP surgery if any left once those in the ‘at risk’ groups are vaccinated
