Hubby's brother not isolating.

Hubby's brother went on holiday recently and due to obvious reasons was meant to quarantine for 2 weeks... it's not even been a week and he's out and about. He's posted what he's up to all over social media. Also we had to pop something over to his earlier (literally just had to drop something at their door without social contact) and he wasn't in..

Aibu to be really bloody annoyed? The place he went to is definitely on the quarantine list...

So annoyed how people can go on holidays and not do it. He doesn't even have a steady job so work isn't an issue. He's out socialising!

@ilovesooty so it seems! My area is in local lockdown. There are people who have managed to get abroad?! , day trips miles away, going to neighbouring country. It's crazy. I do have a lot of people on social media and they aren't close friends or family flaunting the rules. Makes me wonder if we will have stricter rules, or if the government will just continue as it is.

Unfortunately this probably happens loads. Not really sure what the coppers can do about it. Very bloody annoying though; too many selfish people out there who quite frankly don't give a shit.

@katy1213

You've got time on your hands. How many other people's lives are you tracking?
Ffs, this is her BIL? How could she not notice he was just back from a relevant country and not in when she popped round.

It's very telling that some people have a go at OP and not at her despicably selfish BIL. People like him can be super spreaders. Do you love the risk of covid and adore the restrictions? Because people like him are a big part of the reason for them. I know of at least three people who refused to quarantine on return from holiday, in each case they infected multiple others and resulted in completely avoidable time off work and school for others.

Report him immediately OPK, and following that give him an absolute bollocking and tell him if you see any further evidence of him not isolating you will report him again for another and higher fine.

Batshitbeautycosmeticsltd · 27/09/2020 19:47

Happens all the time. Leave him to it.

Greenglassteacup · 27/09/2020 19:49

Why come on here to tell us? Do the right thing and report him. What a cunt he is

OverTheRainbow88 · 27/09/2020 19:50

No because it's not my business.

But it is everyone’s business, as selfish twats are putting us all back into stricter lockdowns again.

I would report the selfish man

Greenglassteacup · 27/09/2020 19:52

You’re just as irresponsible in my opinion if you don’t report him

jackstini · 28/09/2020 21:05

Hope he can afford the new £4000 fine then!

Pinktruffle · 28/09/2020 21:23

I'd report him

Branleuse · 28/09/2020 21:25

ilovesooty · 29/09/2020 13:57
