I'm the same. I'd cross six lane of a busy dual carriageway to say hello to a puppy, but wouldn't cross the pavement to take a peek at a baby.

Puppies are just delicious, with their baggy skin, and pink-padded paws, like under-ripe raspberries. They smell divine and are so lovely and squidgy.

I'm proper broody now. My "puppy" is 15 now ...

@OnceUponAMidnightBeery I’m the same, we got our puppy in June (so he is now entering the insane teenage weeks, great) and anytime he was being held on the sofa it was hard not to say “you’re getting practice in for our baby”.
