We're moving back to the UK shortly and I was wondering what your 12-13-year-olds are into? What is popular at the moment? I.e TV programmes, games etc

DS is into gaming, Among Us and Team Fortress 2 are the current ones that he plays with his friends/with the kids on the bus. He watches loads of random videos on YouTube, makes memes & animations for his channel.
He reads graphic novels, fact books about anything and is just getting into Terry Pratchett

Wow dont let your 13 year old watch the programme south park it's an 18. Mine likes gaming but only allowed age appropriate stuff.

He loves Windsurfing which he does regularly as perfect weather here. He's doesn't like football but I think he would like canoeing/kayaking/paddleboarding in the UK. When we've visited the UK he's enjoyed indoor climbing and waterparks where they have inflatables on a lake.
He has an Xbox and Nintendo Switch and plays Minecraft, Zelda, and Animal Crossing and a bit of Fortnite and some other games plus Among us on his phone. He loves walking his dog and has a bike. He watches Youtubers like Mr Beast and Youtubing gamers. He never watches TV but he likes Harry Potter films, Star Wars, Avengers things like that. I guess he has more in common with children his age in the UK than I thought.

@lughnasadh
He's been asking me for a raspberry pi for a while (we can't get them here). Do you recommend a starter pack? I was a bit confused about how to start him off.

My 13-year-old DS and his friends are all massively into Among Us at the moment - a game they play together on their phones. He also loves his flight sim games, messing round on his bike, watching aviation and travel stuff on YouTube and (old) Top Gear.

Is there a sailing club near where you're moving to? Weather is obviously generally rubbish, but most areas have sailing, and paddle boarding is becoming popular.

RYA run sailing courses, and you can often book holiday courses.
