AIBU to show you my new kittens?

That's it really. We've had them for 3 weeks now and no visitors to gush over how cute they are.

Their names are Sky and Solo.

Bit of a tough start for Sky as she had a mystery infection and nearly died but luckily the rehoming centre nursed her back to health. She is now really sassy and slightly mad.

Solo is very handsome and a few weeks older so much bigger. He likes to climb curtains.

Ooh I've got two lovely, lovely cats. But you are so unreasonable, now I've got kitten envy.

They are adorable Smile.

Flibbitygibbit · 24/09/2020 17:02

Absolutely gorgeous Op. I love cats with a passion.

FuzzyPuffling · 24/09/2020 17:04

And it is NEVER unreasonable to show kitty-pictures.

Aw, this is definitely the right place to post gorgeous kitten photos 😍

Kittens should always be admired, so MN are your virtual visitors with goo

LUZON · 24/09/2020 17:17

Yanbu. Anyone else who has a kitten or several kittens who doesn’t post a picture is being very unreasonable though.

torthecatlady · 24/09/2020 17:25

Beautiful 😻

CornedBeef451 · 24/09/2020 19:36

They just had their first immunisations and chip injected. Solo took it like a champ but Sky turned into a handful of claws and hissing fury! She was magnificent! Even the vet seemed impressed.

Now they're sleeping off all the excitement.

Ahhh @YessicaHaircut she's lovely!

CornedBeef451 · 24/09/2020 20:48

@HelpOrHindrance they are a nightmare, you'd be doing me a favour.

Not really, I'd fight you for them, they're lovely!

I had forgotten how bad the smell is when scooping the poop though. They like to do it when we're eating.

They have both appeared in various Teams meetings, Sky once sat on my shoulder in a casual fashion and Solo likes to climb me with his sharp little claws. Apparently my "in pain" face is hilarious for the rest of my team.

I Want A Kitten!

I had two littermates and one sadly died in 2018 at age 8. So now I have a 12 year old, a 10 year old and no flying furball to serve take care of.

Sad
whatisforteamum · 24/09/2020 21:03
