I follow 'Pregnant then Screwed' on LinkedIn...

It's an organisation that's all about the rights of women during and after pregnancy in employment.

The founder has worked really, really hard over the last 6 months lobbying the Govt and putting on pressure via the media for various things that impact women from COVID-19 fallout.

I believe she was pretty instrumental in the Govt saying last week that local lockdowns don't include using family for childcare because of the impact that was having on women's ability to stay in the workplace (I'm not involved so I can't say how instrumental but

Anyway...they've released a YouTube thing today about the last six months and the woman who runs it really does seem to have been through the ringer doing all of this.

I thought it might be nice if she had an influx of YouTube likes and new followers on social media this week to sort of say thank you and show support...

This is the YouTube link... m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=q1Jh30QCkRU

I'll go and search out other social media links because I only follow on LinkedIn...

Yes

Out of interest @Mistlewoeandwhine why is OP unreasonable, to ask for support for a charitable organisation trying it's best to shine a light on and give a voice to huge numbers of your peers who are shouldering so much of this pandemic. Nurses, carers, teachers, nursery assistants are all primarily women- should they not be expecting measures to protect them?

I guess for all the clapping for the NHS and #staysafe there are some who would far rather be provocative keyboard warriors 😂

Hopeful bump...

Bumping for you
