To be annoyed at this parent!

On Tuesday night a fb friend and a local school mum posted on her Facebook that her DS had symptoms and needed a test but she wasn't managing to get one which I totally get as DS needed a test last week.

The very next day older sister of said child is at school. So she's obviously lied to the school about her sons symptoms because they wouldn't allow sister in because this is generally the new norm around the country plus we were in the same boat last week. I kept Dd off when DS had a test - it was negative so back to school because thats what we are told to do. The school even sent a letter (by email) home that we must keep siblings off. It's bloody obvious.

Today older sister is in again. She's left younger brother (about 8) at home so she can take older one to school.

I'm not the type to 'snitch' on people but I find it so annoying when older sister is in DS's bubble.

How many other people are doing this?!

There was not a chance she got a test and results in the 12 hours from posting on fb to sister going to school!!

Nightmare!

I had to have a test the other day. I saw at least 5 kids there in school uniform. I hope the testers said something to them, and they didn’t go straight to school after their 8 am test.

If a child has symptoms tne entire household has to isolate for 14 days (the ill child for 10) or untill they get a negative result. Sending a sibling in is putting their entire class/bubbles and teachers at risk. If the well sibling then goes on to test positive later tne entire class/bubble/teachers would then have to isolate themselves for 14 days even if the have no symptoms that is why the situation described on tne OP is everyone's business, why should an entire bubble have to go through this due to one parents pure selfishness?
