Big up to Alesha Dixon for wearing BLM necklace on BGT tonight. No doubt a fuck you to all the racists moaning about Diversity's performance a few weeks ago.

Well done Alesha Grin

"Who are these 42% voting YABU? Racists."

Are the Black people who don't agree with the political movement, BLM, also racists?

My Nigerian, Zimbabwean and Ghanaian friends are of the opinion that if BLM (especially women's) then they wouldn't have had to leave Africa.

BLM as a statement is correct, but if someone can wear a piece of Jewellery on television supprting a political movement, when upto now that hasn't been allowed, then people can question that.[/quote]
This.

I am absolutely sick fed up of expressing my issues with the movement as a whole and being called a racist.

Barrowmanfan22, stop expressing racist viewpoints then.

What is my racist viewpoint ? Pray tell.

Uh oh the thought police have landed

I notice you didn't address the post I quoted. Is that for any reason other than its harder to make vague offensive statements in the eyes of first hand experience from BAME people themselves than to just claim a stranger you don't know has racist viewpoints ? 🙄

Yes, using the word ‘racist’ is definitely the main problem here.

Your father’s black South African? So you’re mixed-race?

If you think I'm sharing my background with someone else implying I'm a racist you're having a laugh. Biscuit

Why? Not being excited about someone wearing a necklace that supports a specific organisation doesn't automatically make you racist. Don't be so ridiculous.

trixiebelden77 · 20/09/2020 01:38

Oh I didn’t mean to imply you were a racist. I meant to imply you were engaging in ludicrous hyperbole that made you look rather stupid.

I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear.

The main problem here is most certainly not a word being ‘flung around’.

As for refusing to share your background - you already did so as supporting your contention that you’re not racist. So I’m afraid that’s a self-biscuit.

How embarrassing.
