Fine if totally different colours, such as JellyTeapot’s punk denim jacket. Blue jacket ok with a contrasting top and any colour jeans except blue.

I think coloured denim isn't really denim for DD purposes. Dark blue & pink would look fab.

Gosh, I remember coloured denim the first time around. I sported lots of pink and pale blue and white denim circa 1993. My favourite piece was a pale pink denim waistcoat from Benetton worn with nothing underneath and 501s . Jeez I thought I was the bees knees working the bars of Faliraki!

I'd be more bothered about 1 year old in denim in the first place, how very uncomfortable for them, especially a jacket. Let your baby be a baby, they aren't small for long

Ah - a 1 year old - I missed that. Sounds stiff and uncomfy for a small child to me. I wouldnt expect a 1 year old in denim and certainly not double denim. Although suspect it was more kind of denim coloured soft cotton ???

Denim jeggings and a soft lined denim jacket but the inside is like a hoodie. He's not in thick rigid denim don't worry.
