I work in a very senior role but surely the press office shouldn't be releasing a statement saying I said it and putting my signature on the end of the statement without running it past me first?

S/he has trolled about this before.

My partner works in comms with gov and other representative bodies. He talks about having a tick and other people having a tick. Definitely not ok to put something out in your name without your tick.
