Temp is normal but have the typical scratchy throat I get before I get a cold. Anything I can do now to prevent it from getting a lot worse? Single mum to a toddler and not sure I can cope with a mega cold right now!

First defence is really good. I use it every half an hour or so (against the label's advice) and it really helps.

It basically irritates your nose so much you sneeze and stream which washes the cold virus out before it can replicate

Yes definitely first defence and gargle with salt water. I actually think first defence could be a secret covid defence weapon!

Never tried First Defence. Salt water gargle and as a hot a shower as you can stand.

Apple cider vinegar (organic with the mother). 1tbsp in 8oz water. Drink 3-4 times per day.

I second echinacea. As well as loading up on healthy vitamin packed, nutritious meals. On the first tickle throat stage usually cook a hot curry with lots of fresh garlic, ginger, turmeric and chillies. Or Chicken broth. Chicken noodle soup with veggies. And drink plenty of liquids.
