Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

OP posts:
CaviarAndCigarettes · 17/09/2020 00:03

@sapnupuas I am a random curtain closer and may be able to help you achieve closure here..

1: I left my bra downstairs and haven't realised until I'm partially dressed. I've sent the kids and husband on a search mission and they've failed because they can only see things that are directly in front of them and apparently lack the ability to bend, love their eyes or lift a cushion. Thankfully they are usually able to close the curtains for me to find it in 5 seconds.
Yes. I should take it upstairs when I discard it when it annoys me, one day I will learn.

  1. Watching anything remotely weird on tv. Game of thrones is curtains shut over here. Lots of foot traffic and don't need folk peering in at the wrong moment
  1. Sun in the wrong place. Absolutely beans through the front window some days and blinds us. I'm part vampire
  1. Random naked children. One I can usually dress but if they all get at it I prefer to shut the curtains until I've got clothes on them because of the high foot traffic
  1. Migraine/hangover. Darkness and silence please

If none of the above them I agree they are just weird

CaviarAndCigarettes · 17/09/2020 00:08

@Ginkypig well done you. You have a free annoyance pass

RoSEbuds6 · 17/09/2020 00:11

People who don’t say thank you, or even smile, when you have stood back and waited to let them through

Hell yes!

mellowww · 17/09/2020 05:20

People who stand really close to me behind me in s socially distanced queue.

People brushing me as they pass and not saying sorry.

Very thin women with short greying bobs who order a coffee and huge pastry/cake(s) unsmilingly and don't really say thank you.

Black and white cats. (I want them to be one colour.)

Readandwalk · 17/09/2020 05:31

Fucking middle class children being funded by their parents. Getting house deposits and life long random gifts of money just for being born while others ( me) have to earn every penny our selves
And then the arrogance of said free loaders. I'm raging all the time.

Newmumatlast · 17/09/2020 05:37

@sapnupuas

My neighbours closing their curtains randomly for an hour or so during the day (usually about now). Why? Why are they doing this?
I think it's possible to guess 🤔
jessstan2 · 17/09/2020 06:05

People who notice who closes their curtains and when. I rarely open mine at the front.

fantasmasgoria1 · 17/09/2020 06:14

Hershelina- I agree totally about the leggings. I have seen so many people with thin leggings on with their pants and half their atse on show. Mil has done this and I advised her that if she is wearing leggings then she need to wear a top that covers all her bum!!!! Also as others have said people with lips like a fish.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 17/09/2020 06:14

Parents who make videos of their young kids for Youtube. Pimping your kids for money much?

Newmumatlast · 17/09/2020 06:16

I also agree in impractical and uncomfortable clothes however do not consider babygros to be the only answer. I dressed my little one in a series of legging and tshirt combos from relatively young and they seemed just as comfortable. Its grown-up style jeans and convoluted tops and jackets etc I avoided. I have heard professionals complain before about babies not being in day clothes as though keeping them in babygros is indicative of poor care - however I don't agree! To each their own. Babygros make sense especially in the early days. They make some gorgeous ones and totally get what you're saying about changing into more special babygros!

Newmumatlast · 17/09/2020 06:24

@JudgeRindersMinder

Most of men have already been listed, but a few more..

Couples saying “we’re” pregnant
Baby showers
Gender reveals
Using gender instead of sex
Fake tan
Fake eyebrows
Monstrous false nails
People who spend a fortune on cleaning products and proudly show off their “haul” (yes I know I should leave that fb group😂)

now I did have a 'gender reveal' with literally just my parents and sister's family but I called it a sex party. They were a bit Hmm when I invited them. In all reality it was our usual Sunday dinner with extra cake
Reubenshat · 17/09/2020 06:26

The sun maybe shining on their tv! I did this yesterday whilst watching GOT . Christ I bet my neighbours thought all sorts Grin

Are you always a knob?[/quote]
I’d say so...

Galaxxy · 17/09/2020 06:35

Lip fillers. So distracting and odd. Conjured image of the Dali lip-couch in my mind every time I see someone with filler. Look like they've been punched in the mouth!

cliffdiver · 17/09/2020 06:36

People smoking weed outside / in their gardens

Children pushing shopping trollies

mamanrose · 17/09/2020 06:47

Another defensive ff mum Hmm

theviewfromhalfwaydown · 17/09/2020 07:06

The middle aged guy near me who has a car that Ali G would be proud of. He sits outside his house everyday with his music blaring and revs his engine for ages before driving off to his job as a bank manager.

People who hang bags of dog poo off trees.

People who never think their children do anything wrong. Even the best behaved kids can be little brats sometimes.

The mum at my sons school who seems to break the dress code on purpose by putting her dd in knee high boots and different jumpers. Then has a hissy fit when she's told they aren't acceptable. She's been doing it for years. Also does the same at Cubs where they come in wearing boob tubes and mini skirts with flip flops when they are going for a hike/should be wearing uniform.

The dad at my dds school who comes to parents evening dressed in exactly the same designer gear as his 15 yr old. His son always looks so embarrassed.

People who don't say please.

ScarMatty · 17/09/2020 07:30

@OchonAgusOchonO

You should honestly get a job for the government if you're capable of deciding how others are feeling.

But in all seriousness, I honestly do feel bad for them. It's not a pleasant way to live to be judgemental of people for something that is often out of their control.

ScarMatty · 17/09/2020 07:31

@mamanrose

Another defensive ff mum Hmm
I breastfed...Hmm
BritInAus · 17/09/2020 07:32

People who constantly use 'myself' and 'yourself' in the wrong context - eg someone on the phone saying 'and was it yourself that made the booking?'

RoSEbuds6 · 17/09/2020 07:32

I hate the fact that despite the fact we are in a period of ecological crisis with insect and bird numbers plummeting, my neighbours are all cutting down their trees and paving over their front gardens. None of my business what they do in their gardens of course, but it upsets me.

AlviesMam · 17/09/2020 07:57

@maloofhoof

People who confuse bought and brought.

This!

Arsewell · 17/09/2020 08:08

Gender reveals (I know I'm mean)
Little girly baby sneezes (just fucking sneeze properly)
'My house is nicer than yours' type blogs

Sanitisethat · 17/09/2020 08:10

Black and white cats. (I want them to be one colour.)

🤣🤣🤣

Roystonv · 17/09/2020 08:22

Incompetence/laziness, when you are at work do the job you have been trained to do as efficiently and accurately as possible. Think of the people you are assisting and do the very best you can for them; it is your job they are a customer not some random person asking you for a favour. Don't guess the answer to something, find out. Don't try and deal (badly) with a matter you have no knowledge of but escalate it to someone who does. And to all companies out there stop letting poorly trained people with little support represent your company and stop doing away with more senior team members who might actually grasp the problem and have the ability to assist, nobody wins in the end currently.
