Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

OP posts:
TheOrigRightsofwomen · 16/09/2020 19:08

Having a cheeky gin or Prosecco and the whole mums drinking thing.
Just have a sodding drink if you want one.

charliebear78 · 16/09/2020 19:11

When I watch TV series, It is always the American ones-Why do they never close their curtains/blinds at night?????
This annoys me!

The80sweregreat · 16/09/2020 19:15

Canned laughter on comedy shows.

Avocado13579 · 16/09/2020 19:17

Fat people eating unhealthy food while walking on the street. Completely not my business but annoying.

MintyMabel · 16/09/2020 19:18

He's got monster feet (size 4) so velcro is no longer an option

This is something that annoys me that is my business. Why do shoe manufacturers decree that kids over the age of 8 must no longer have Velcro shoes? Why is tying laces such a big important thing? DD wears splints and they only fit in shoes with velcro. At 11 years old it’s impossible to get shoes with velcro.

Mothers who do not breastfeed

Oh do shut up! There is always a ignorant twat in every thread.

Zilla1 · 16/09/2020 19:26

The TV advert with the pregnant mother-to-be and her coercive controlling wife.

damnthatanxiety · 16/09/2020 19:26

People who use terms created by brands as if they are normal words - Slimming World Syns for example or points or whatever other slimming businesses use.

In the same vein, people who go on about being an 'autumn' or 'spring'. It makes you sound like an 8 year old who has been told what to wear and normal people have no idea or interest in what you are talking about.

People banging on about Mulberry as if it is the best brand on Earth. At best it is hardy. At worst it is horribly boring and makes anyone carrying it look fashion clueless. Live a little, branch out. There are a thousand nicer, cooler and more stylish luxury brands out there!

pinkstripeycat · 16/09/2020 19:30

People wearing their masks below their nose.

Well that is to do with others as having your nose and mouth covered (Is meant to) protect others

lakesidefall · 16/09/2020 19:30

@MintyMabel we had the shoe issue and Geox shoes were very good, expensive but non lace solid shoes.

Zilla1 · 16/09/2020 19:31

People promoting the use of Botox, fillers and other procedures (and polluting culture with the concept that then normalises and encourages people in their teens and twenties to use this).

Justpickaname · 16/09/2020 19:31

Ooh, ooh, another one, people who are talking on hands free, while walking, with nothing in there hands. Just talk in it like a normal phone ggrrr

neverenoughchelseaboots · 16/09/2020 19:33

People who say acronym when they mean initialism.

LolaLollypop · 16/09/2020 19:36

Bad grammar
People wearing their pyjamas outside the house
Middle lane drivers
Slow walkers
Couples who are overly affectionate

SarahBellam · 16/09/2020 19:36

Teenagers saying ‘like’ for every other word. My DD has this absolutely lovely friend. She’s funny and talented and smart and kind. I love having her to stay and she’s a really positive influence on my DD, but after 20 minutes in the car with her I wanted to rip her head off.

People who.dont strap their toddler in the buggy
Not wearing a mask properly or not all on the bus
I have no issue with people disabilities not wearing one

People telling me how to run my life and look how to look after my children
Cover deniers

pigsDOfly · 16/09/2020 19:45

Oh dear. So many posts that I'm reading and agreeing with.

I'm beginning to think that the rude man in the park who called me a 'miserable old cow' when I told him to get his dog off me when it was leaping all over me might be right.

People who allow their dogs to leap all over me or my dog annoy me, obviously.

pigsDOfly · 16/09/2020 19:48

Oh, just realised the OP specified 'none of your business'.

Obviously, the leapt on thing would be my business. And it's very annoying.

FilthyforFirth · 16/09/2020 19:51

People who smoke whilst pushing prams or around small children. I loathe it so much.

Babies/small children with their ears pierced.

Mothers who do not breastfeed

Oh do shut up! There is always a ignorant twat in every thread.

Not really. I find it weird that mothers choose not to. Each to their own
AlternativePerspective · 16/09/2020 19:58

Mothers who do not breastfeed twats who have so little of a life that they have time to even have an opinion on how someone else feeds their baby.

ALLIS0N · 16/09/2020 20:00

If you are going to be offended you need to stay away from these threads. The possible content was clear from the title .

Justpickaname · 16/09/2020 20:02

@mamanrose did it maybe occur to you that some women chose not to breast feed due to personal issues such as body image issues, fear or lack of confidence because of previous experiences, embarrassment of having to expose their breast?
I Think you're being very judgmental.

Gancanny · 16/09/2020 20:02

Regardless of the thread title, it doesn't give people license to post shitty things that they know will upset other people. That's why unpopular opinion threads are rarely allowed to stand because they end up filled with FF vs BF, disabilist, racist, sexist, classist bullshit.

Oneearringlost · 16/09/2020 20:03

The term "lady" or "ladies".
Estate agent speke.
