Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

OP posts:
Lovemusic33 · 16/09/2020 17:40

Painted on eyebrows 😐

The screaming children down the road....why doesn’t their mother tell them to shut the fuck up? (General kids screaming at each other, crying...I think they are ok, just being left to it in the garden).

The neighbours half finished building work.

The80sweregreat · 16/09/2020 17:42

Tattoos. Dh and eldest have tattoos and I hate it! I just think they look awful on people.
They obviously think I'm mad!

vanillandhoney · 16/09/2020 17:47

Messy houses.
Or, people who say that if you have a clean house, you must be boring/never spend time with your kids, or just plain weird.

SistineScreamer · 16/09/2020 17:47

Wait, I need to know - Why is finding out the sex of a baby so annoying to a good portion of posters here? 😐

MJMG2015 · 16/09/2020 17:50

@IhateBoswell

Children in shopping trolleys what? Why?!

I meant in the actual trolley part, not the seat. I’m always worried there will be an accident rather than hygiene reasons.

And what sort of accident do you think is going to befall them? Sitting inside a trolly? And do you think it's actually less safe than them walking around?

People who are worried about kids having their shoes in there, would pass out if the saw what happens to trolleys overnight / and as a clue, it's NOT cleaning!!

ScarMatty · 16/09/2020 17:50

@Gancanny

Fat people especially fat children

My child is overweight as a side effect of his disability, it cannot be helped and is being managed by his medical team, good to know he's being judged for this.

This probably isn't the right thread for you if you're that sensitive.
Gancanny · 16/09/2020 17:53

There's nothing wrong with the thread aside from one or two arsehole comments such as that one

Feellikedancingyeah · 16/09/2020 17:55

Neighbours with curtains closed in day and open at night

GypsyRoseGarden · 16/09/2020 17:56

pierced ear brows
pierced lips
pierced tongues
pierced cartilage
and those earrings that are swapped out to gradually make a bigger and bigger hole in the ear lobe - WHY!!!!!!!

Tupperwarelid · 16/09/2020 17:56

Adults without children who have their photos taken with the characters at Disneyland/ Disneyworld. Don’t they realise they are just people in costumes?

GypsyRoseGarden · 16/09/2020 17:57

eye brows not ear brows - doh!

The80sweregreat · 16/09/2020 17:57

A very nice employee at our local recycling centre has these long ear things. His so nice and friendly but I find myself just staring at his ears ! It ruins his looks !
(And still nothing to do with me ! .. )

GypsyRoseGarden · 16/09/2020 17:58

@Tupperwarelid there's a whole world of adult people who do the entire "Disney" experience sans children .... I know one lady ... great friend ... smart intelligent lawyer ... who goes absolutely nuts at disneyworld and regresses to the age of about 8

ClementineWoolysocks · 16/09/2020 17:58

Middle-aged women who can't be photographed without a glass in hand #bottomlessbrunch #prosecco

LoseLooseLucy · 16/09/2020 17:58

And what sort of accident do you think is going to befall them? Sitting inside a trolly? And do you think it's actually less safe than them walking around?

You need it pointing out to you how it can be dangerous having a toddler in a trolley? I’ve seen a few attempting to stand up in them, it makes me wince.

ALLIS0N · 16/09/2020 17:59

Wait, I need to know - Why is finding out the sex of a baby so annoying to a good portion of posters here? 😐

It’s the not the finding out that annoys people . It’s

Telling everyone else and expecting them to be ecstatic, when they all knew already that the baby was a boy or a girl.
Having parties, events and reveals and expecting others to attend and bring gifts
Calling it gender when they mean sex
The nasty and predictable stereotyping involved “ oh a little princess for mummy “ “ oh a strong boy to play football with daddy/ be a Man U supporter “
The obscene amount of money spent on designer accessories, furniture and buggies “ for the baby “ when it’s in fact for the parents as the baby certainly doesn’t care. And expecting everyone else to gush about it.

Diddumz · 16/09/2020 18:00

Baby girls dressed in hideous turbans.

People who say "Well played".

GypsyRoseGarden · 16/09/2020 18:00

@The80sweregreat I know what you mean - I had a lovely lady I worked with - very competent and friendly and kind - and I kept looking at her ears - nothing to do with me at all but I just couldn't understand it

OldPunk · 16/09/2020 18:01

People on MN who don't read the original post properly and then ask something that has been said in the OP! Hope no one has already said this. I haven't read all the replies!!

Orphlids · 16/09/2020 18:01

When you go to see a Shakespeare comedy, and some members of the audience laugh much too loudly at every joke, no matter how unfunny. It tends to be men in their fifties. We all know they’ve heard the joke a thousand times, and we all know the joke certainly isn’t funny enough to make anyone laugh out loud. But they do it to let everyone around them know that they’ve understood it, even though it’s Shakespeare, so they must be dead clever!

JenniferSantoro · 16/09/2020 18:04

Other people’s children. And other people.

peanacat · 16/09/2020 18:05

@maloofhoof

People who confuse bought and brought. Yes you DP.

Those huge expander holes in ears 🤮

So glad the bought/brought one was said, pretty much everyone says ‘brought’ when they mean ‘bought’ here in the Midlands! Gaaaaaaah
LakieLady · 16/09/2020 18:05

The way the woman over the road hurls glass bottles into her recycling bin as though she's trying to smash them to smithereens (and she seems to get through a LOT of bottles Wink).

Litter.

People who park really close to corners, especially the ones who do it at the far end of my road.

cdtaylornats · 16/09/2020 18:05

People

funinthesun19 · 16/09/2020 18:06

People who moan about families with more than 2 children. Especially when it’s to do with the planet. If you’re that bothered about overpopulation then why have you had 1 or 2 children yourself? Instead of “replacing” you, why not just create some space?
