MedicalMystery1 you know when you buy a new coat the pockets are sewn up and you have to unpick the stitching? They also stitch a cross into the vent at the back (if there is one) which you also unpick once you've purchased it

ohnonotyetplease · 16/09/2020 15:37

People who use the word 'mental' in a derogatory way - a lazy, unkind way to describe someone who isn't neurotypical or who has a disability affecting their mind/speech etc

stuffedfullofpizza · 16/09/2020 15:38

Karen

peonyblossom · 16/09/2020 15:38

People who light coal bbqs on housing estates. Although I suppose that is my business when my house stinks. Get a gas one you antisocial knob, or move to the countryside! Ditto bonfires although that rarely happens.

People who think they're parenting experts and sprout forth on every related subject just because they have 2/3/4 children. You're only an expert in your own!

Gancanny · 16/09/2020 15:41

toddlers on reigns

Reins save lives.

cologne4711 · 16/09/2020 15:41

Oh so many.

Garden bonfires
Parking on pavements
Not giving way to pedestrians crossing the side road you want to turn into
People who walk too slowly and take up the whole pavement/path, as a pp says.

The hashtag #makingmemories - you either remember something or you don't, and you won't know until 10 years time whether you remember it or not

Nanalisa60 · 16/09/2020 15:42

People throwing out rubbish out of there car windows!! Pigs!!

People not clearing up after there dogs!! Pigs !!

People that can’t be bothered to go to the tip!! But just fly tip in our lovely countryside or any bit of ground they can find!! Pigs

People who now go to supermarket Then when they get outside just drop there mask And sometimes surgical gloves on the floor!! As they get in there car hopping no one spots them doing it!! Who the FUCK do they think is going to pick it up!! The COVID fairies

I think I might be turning into one of those old ladies that just walks around picking up litter that everyone else thinks is ok to just drop!!

Why o why have people lost pride in this country and thinks it’s just a big rubbish dump!! It makes me want to cry!!

Blondiney · 16/09/2020 15:43

Grey decor. I'm talking every surface covered in some sort of laminated shade of doom.

LondonJax · 16/09/2020 15:44

Drivers who don't indicate that they're turning because they have no one behind them....forgetting the pedestrian that's standing at the side of the road waiting to cross before the stream of traffic on the other side of the road catches up.

Nothing infuriates me more than seeing that lone car turn just before it gets to me, leaving me to wait for the cars going in the opposite direction to go past. If they'd just indicate I could get across the road in the gap! And it's always when it's raining. Don't indicators work in the rain?

Sanitisethat · 16/09/2020 15:46

Pregnant women...the idea of a parasite growing off you, stretching you, is disgusting.

Hey! That’s only ok when I say it about myself!

UnfinishedSymphon · 16/09/2020 15:46

@loobyloo1234

Oh I have another - cyclists who don't ride single file on country lanes just so they can have a chat with their mates next to them - rageeeeeee inducing
But that does affect you so not sure it's in the spirit of the thread
user1481840227 · 16/09/2020 15:46

People insisting kids wear massive coats, scarves, hats, gloves...the lot when it's a little bit cold (in case they catch a cold Hmm. even though they don't want to and/or end up sweating so much because of it.

On a more serious note.... the same issue but with little babies....covering them in too many layers even though it's dangerous for them. One piece of health and basic baby care advice that is often ignored even though the results can be fatal.

timeforanew · 16/09/2020 15:46

People who think that Covid is a valid reason for not picking up their dogs poop. Our local parks are covered!

UnfinishedSymphon · 16/09/2020 15:49
@bonsaiii
I’ll take it as it is bloody annoying. I’ll pull up my big girl pants and say it but I would like to say first, I have nothing against council house tenants, we all have our own lives and stories and 9/10 I wouldn’t really know who along my road/in general who’s council house tenants, private renters, own their own home, lives in a house purchased for them etc....

One of my annoyances is people who live in council houses and have multiple children even though the existing house isn’t big enough for them with existing children, then go on to have more kids and then complain that the council can’t or won’t rehouse them in a larger place.
I do get that people are entitled to have as many kids as they want, and over crowding can happen in any property weather it’s owned, from the council or private renting, but for me, if you decide to have another child then surely your current situation should also have a factor in deciding. If I live in a 2 bedroom flat which is owned by me then it’s likely that deciding to have another 1 or 2 kids will mean my current house is no longer fit for purpose but I either need to a) not have more kids, b) see if I can afford to move or c) have another kid and put up with the over crowding of my home
I totally agree. It's totally different if you already have kids but then your circumstances change, you lose your house etc. but to keep getting pregnant when you can't afford to is pretty selfish on others

KeepSmiling89 · 16/09/2020 15:49

Not sure if this has been said but...
People who post a vague but attention seeking status on social media (ahem, Facebook) then people take the bait and comment with something like "aww hope you're ok hun" or "aww hun what's wrong?", and are met with "I'll PM you"

timeforanew · 16/09/2020 15:49

(Mostly) little girls looking miserable in dainty little ballerina flats or T-bars, frilly (Soaking wet) socks and bare (blue) legs when its rainy and cold. Get your kids some decent shoes, and dress them appropriately

thenightsky · 16/09/2020 15:49

Jack Vettriano

Yes!

RelaisBlu · 16/09/2020 15:51

Fascinators - they almost always look ridiculous. A proper hat is so much better

thepeopleversuswork · 16/09/2020 15:51

Bridezilla behaviour and people who plan weddings as a hobby
People who bang on about their food intolerances
Over use of industry jargon
Over use of the phrase “disgusted” (as in I am disgusted there are no seats on this train)

REDLIPSTICKANDNAILS · 16/09/2020 15:52

Jack Vittriano - yes!!!! Can't stand his stuff

YukoandHiro · 16/09/2020 15:53
