Little girls dressed head to toe in insipid pink

OP posts:
Frazzled13 · 16/09/2020 14:37

People who replace their lawn with fake grass. WHY would you tear up grass and replace it with plastic?

FirelighterGirl · 16/09/2020 14:37

Small children walking around with dummies in.

Worse is them trying to speak with it in.

Followed by same age group in disgusting overfull nappies.

Blimeyoreilly2020 · 16/09/2020 14:37

Crop tops in totally inappropriate weather.

MyOwnSummer · 16/09/2020 14:39

@TheRattleBag there is a subreddit for those of us who hate our food being served on random items like boards, tiles etc... r/wewantplates is a very cathartic place!!

stonesandbark · 16/09/2020 14:39

Parents who let their kids play (unsafely) in the street rather than taking them to the park

People who don't like kids playing in their own communities.

KeepSmiling89 · 16/09/2020 14:39

Going out for a nice meal/coffee with DH and seeing a couple or at the next table both with their heads in their phones, taking sips of their drinks now and again barely acknowledging each other.

Biffsboys · 16/09/2020 14:39

TenDays

People walking around with their coats hoods inside out.

abracadabra77 · 16/09/2020 14:39

People who put up photos of their young daughters (toddlers/primary school age) pouting and posing with their hand on their hips sticking their bums out etc. So sad to see.

FirelighterGirl · 16/09/2020 14:40

@maloofhoof

People who confuse bought and brought. Yes you DP.

Those huge expander holes in ears 🤮

I was very amused to see a local primary school teacher do this in a fB post yesterday.

She can be a bit smug and i SOOOOO wanted to correct her.

PurplePansy05 · 16/09/2020 14:40

People listening to loud music on public transport.

People using speakerphone in public (livid).

People not carrying tissues with them, sniffling and spreading germs (since long way before covid, just disgusting).

stonesandbark · 16/09/2020 14:40

@myownsummer

Is this the anthem of your subreddit tribe? Grin

PurplePansy05 · 16/09/2020 14:41

Parents slapping emoji over their kids' faces on social media.

Techno56 · 16/09/2020 14:41

My neighbours new "ring" doorbell.

It sounds like a mobile phone ringtone going off...outside. Loudly. It also has another sound for when someone opens the front or back fucking door.

ARGH.

FirelighterGirl · 16/09/2020 14:41

Other people's children. Pre school age are worst.

Even mine can be most annoying

crazychemist · 16/09/2020 14:42

People who laugh when their children are badly behaved and have the “boys will be boys” attitude

Ori82 · 16/09/2020 14:42

Nosy fuckers who feel entitled to get involved in everyone else's business, whether it belongs to them or not.

Bitchy women. If you've got nothing nice to say, sisters, don't say anything.

Passive aggressive people. Own your anger. Don't hide behind a thinly-veiled façade of politeness. It just makes me want to commit a crime.

Babies with their ears pierced. Why??? Just why?

Both neighbours on either side of me. The most emotionally needy/exhausting/high maintenance personalities anyone could live next to.

People who correct others' punctuation and grammar on SM. Particularly MN. Particularly when the OP is clearly in distress and...…yeah...…...you guessed it...…...isn't thinking about writing an academically approved essay.

movingonup20 · 16/09/2020 14:43

Weird names/odd spellings of normal names and surnames as first names - I always think poor kid. (I've worked in hr and we culled applications (we often got 500 for one job) because this didn't seem a good fit, we could only interview 6 or so, tacky names went in the no pile)

MaskingForIt · 16/09/2020 14:44
@helplessprocrastinator I used to find baby on board signs weird but DP's colleague told him it's so paramedics would know to look for a baby if we were in a car crash.
Did they take the sign out when the baby wasn’t in the car, or did they selfishly expect a paramedic to risk their life rummaging around in a baby-free car in the event of an accident?

tinseltitsandlittlegits · 16/09/2020 14:45

Definitely being called love by strangers 🤬

ReceptacleForTheRespectable · 16/09/2020 14:45

Balloons (the nitrous ones) and the dumbasses who use them then leave the bloody canisters everywhere

It's not really 'balloon users' who are leaving the nitrous canisters lying around! People are using the canisters to get high, and the balloons are a by-product.

(I'm with you that balloons in general are shit and bad for the environment though.)

Scoobydoobywho · 16/09/2020 14:46

Adults in Barbie pink cars.

OverTheRubicon · 16/09/2020 14:47

@movingonup20 if that's true that you binned applications for 'tacky' names then surely you realise as someone in HR that what you were in effect doing was discriminating against people from minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds? The vast majority of us don't choose our own names ffs.

I get this is a light-hearted thread but this is awful (and illegal).

JamNutellaOrHoney · 16/09/2020 14:48

It also annoys me when people who drive in, then reverse out, of parking spaces. Surely it’s so much safer NOT to be going backwards with poorer views of what’s around you when you’re pulling out into busy areas.

amymel2016 · 16/09/2020 14:48

When my BIL and SIL sing together, it makes me want to rip my skin off.

Anyone who says Hubby.

PurplePansy05 · 16/09/2020 14:50

There's more.

People with poor general knowledge shouting their opinions as if it was the TRUTH.

People using calculators to do basic maths.

People being in the wrong lane on simple roundabouts.

People smoking weed, generally, but particularly in cars.

People not saying thank you when someone helps them out.

People responding with one liner unclear emails because they're lazy farts not bothered about doing their job properly.

Call centre assistants unable to think for themselves and reading off the script only.

People being virtuous when in reality they're horrid.
