Im being totally ridiculous and Unreasonable but im 39+3 and feel like im never going to give birth.

My first DC arrived at 37+4 and i didn't really have much time to think about it.

This time im so stressed and overwhelmed. Im worried about a sweep and possible induction.

Ive had pains on and off for weeks, and i think ive lost a little bit of my mucus plug.

Give me some positivity please!!

Just an update, i was lying on the sofa last night when I heard a pop, my waters had broken and I went through an entire pack of maternity pads and still soaked my leggings! DD was born within 5.5 hours, had a waterbirth and everything went great. Obviously bloody exhausted but over the moon 💖

Oh congratulations OP! Enjoy your newborn baby girl Flowers.
I was just coming on to say hopefully it will be soon, as it was when I felt like DD1 was never going to be born I went into labour (40+5).

🤞 I’ll be the rare person who delivers on their due date.

She was 8 pounds 4 ounces, when I arrived at the hospital i had no cervix left so fully dilated, on the way to the hospital i had to get my DH to stop the car to throw up, and the police pulled over to make sure i was ok 😂

Thats amazing! Did you tell the police you didn't have time to hang around? Grin

5longdaystogo · 19/09/2020 10:06

They were just making sure i was ok and my DH was saying "shes in labour" but they thought he was saying "shes my neighbour" so proceeded to ask on repeat "yeah but what's wrong with her?" 😂 this went on while i was being sick so id no idea what was happening!
