I really shouldn't google my medical symptoms

But while I was waiting to get through to the GPs this morning - for half an hour - I did just that.

I now know I could have anything from a pulled muscle to Huntingdons or Parkinsons disease...

Knew I should have stayed off google Still can talk to the GP in a few hours so hopefully they'll put my mind at rest though how they can diagnose me over the phone wihtout seeing the problem I do not know :(

It's always cancer when I google. Besides the one time that google claimed it was a cyst, then it was cancer.

Thankfully easily treatable kind.

I'm on the fence about Googling - on the one hand everything seems to be cancer. On the other, there have been times when I've thought something was fairly innocuous but a search online has told me it's actually something that merits investigation, and when I've seen the doctor they've treated it as urgent. I never would have known. So I do still Google a bit as a way of figuring out what might justify a doctor's visit but try not to take the results too seriously unless there is a diagnosis from the doctor.

I use an app called Ada, it asks you questions about your symptoms and then makes a report based on the most likely outcome that other people have had with the same symptoms.

According to Google I have prostrate cancer... im not male 😂
