To ask if you've been to Boston?

Have you visited Boston, and if so would you recommend it?

Could you spend a couple of weeks holiday there?

Is there anything nearby worth seeing (neighbouring cities, etc.)?

I’ve been to Boston a few times. Lovely city! Do agree with others that two weeks may be too long unless you combine it with elsewhere. We have done Vermont, New Hampshire (Dartmouth, Concord and White Mountains), Cape Cod, Washington DC and New York on various tcombinations with Boston. Depending on the season - you could ski in NH or Vermont which would be fab - I was a first time skier and loved it, I’m sure there’s more adventurous slopes too for more experienced skiers. Cape cod was lovely in July, although it tends to be quite seasonal and a colleague was disappointed to find a lot of things closed in Late October. We took the Peter Pan bus (air con and WiFi) to New York for around $10 each which was good and about 3.5-4hrs into city centre so about the same time as the flight onc you would factor in check in/security etc,

We spent three nights there last year. Took the train from New York, took about 4 hours but was a lovely comfortable journey. Really enjoyed the city, would recommend it.
