Hi all

Aibu to ask you lovely mumsnetters for inspiration on naming our beautiful new puppy.
He is a gorgeous black lab but we are struggling with names. All suggestions welcome

We met a Gus on our dog walk today which I really liked!
Our neighbours have had dogs called Reg, Bruce and George.
I also quite like Tucker for a lab.

My friends just named her dog Bodhi which I thinks amazing!
The best dog name I ever heard of was a Jack Russel that lived in Soho called Taxi Grin

I like the names Bertie or Banjo or Liquorice

I always wanted a male basset called Bertie or Allsorts.

All easy to shout.

Maybe Apollo takes a bit longer to shout than the othersGrin

Apparently does find two syllable names easy to learn- although my dog had several names- according to how he behaves 😂 so ted-teddy-mr stink- teddy Mcpartington and the other is Bonnie-Bobo-Miss Bobo de la Mer-

You need to take this into consideration as they have to have nicknames to!
