So very middle class and MN but.. I like to buy babygrows from the white company and they're always so lovely and soft but after a few washes, I feel like I've bleached them to death with vanish and washed them so that they're all hard and not a patch on what they were. What's the best way to wash things like this? I use a 3 in 1 washing pod for ease, should I use something else? Very boring, sorry!

Its not boring just a waste of your energy!

Your child will ruin and break every nice thing you buy them.
Do what we all do.
Use the nice stuff for public events and when its no longer nice use it for messy play ir dish rags.

Nothing stays nice forever Smile

Very true! I only buy a few nice bits for this very reason! But I would like to try to keep those nice bits nice for that reason! I can find lots of tips for cleaning online but not so much for washing. For adult clothes, I'd hand wash anything I particularly wanted to keep nice but I think the kids bits need more than a hand wash

Dont use pods...use powder in whites, it has whiteners in.

And use a separate softener. Those 3 in 1 things ever get stuff clean / soft enough

Desperate powder and fabric conditioner. Only wash white things together. Dry in sunlight.
