Turn around time on Covid results?

I know this isn’t an AIBU but posting for traffic and so I can do a poll, as really need to get back to work and wondering how long it will be! (As long as the test is negative obvs). How long did your Covid result take to come back after going to a drive through test centre?

1 done at work on a Wednesday, got results yesterday morning. They are taking a lot longer.

Managed to get through to 119 about 3-ish yesterday. I'd hoped she'd just look up the barcode number on the system nd give me the result but it's just a call centre person working from home who input all the same details again, right down to car reg. number used to drive through test centre) and told me the test had been "escalated" and I'd hear in the next few days and maybe even [last night]. Needless to say, we still wait. Sigh. Second family member now has the same cough. No, they are not going to be tested after this performance.

To update, mine just came this afternoon after posting back last Friday.

Tested Tuesday 11am results 15.00 on Wednesday

Took 78 hours, had to phone to chase.

It’s been 8 days since I sent mine back, still waiting.

20 hours for us, results at the weekend. VERY satisfied!

We always advise anything up to 72 hours. it all depends how busy the lab is - you just need to be patient

but PLEASE do not go back to work until you get your negative result! (you'd be horrified to know how many of our staff didn't....)

Sorry to hijack, we can't get a test here - nothing! DS has a new cough, presume we have to isolate.... but what if we can't get a test tomorrow, or the next day?! Keep him off school indefinitely??

Had test on bank holiday Monday at 11am didn’t get results until the following morning at 3.30pm. Called 3 times and didn’t speed anything up. The whole system is massively failing
