Is my leg about to fall off?

Bitten 4/5 times by mosquito yesterday on leg/ankle.

Ankle massively swollen got to touch, very red and throbbing.

Has anyone else ever had this? I never have, have taken an anticipated but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Can you have a weird reaction to a bite? (Am in the UK).

I don’t have flu like symptoms or fever. Skin is still very hot but it hasn’t swelled further.

I get this too with mosquito bites. Left it too long once - my boss had to drive me to A&E halfway through a presentation I was giving because I couldn’t move my legs anymore and my eyes went all red. Antibiotics and antihistamines and weeks of pain.

I get this all the time. At the mo I have a swollen, red and itchy inner elbow, inner upper arm and right ankle. I don't even notice most bites. It's not great if the bite is in the muscle but they usually go down within a few days.

Are you alive with all limbs attached @MadameBee?

Sister had tiny bite and felt silly going to A&E but it was painful- it was Lime Disease which has really shitty consequences if not treated. 2 weeks antibiotics and all well. Go now to A&E.

Why couldn't she just get those AB's from the GP?

She should have felt silly for going to A&E, because it could have been seen by the GP.

Leg has gone down is all fine, thanks all, although now son had possible Rona 😭😭😭
