This article made me tearful.
It feels other illnesses have been forgotten about.

@StarCat2020

How will they manage flu vaccinations if patients are so scary??
Ours are doing them at the local First Division Football Club. I've booked us in at lloyds pharmacy instead

Really sad to read about such a beautiful young person, who wanted to help others in the same, under appreciated situation

This pandemic certainly highlighted that NHS is not a state-of-the-art system today as some claim. I wish someone had the balls for a massive revamp

Mental health will be getting worse, it should get more priority

So the care across the National Health Service varies dramatically depending on where you live?

Go figure

My GP practice seems to be back to normal - being called in for routine test. smear, etc.
They've used phone appointments for the past few years - tons more efficient, and I sometimes just email her directly & she gets back to me by phone/email or the receptionist calls back to make a face to face appointments.
Sadly she is now off sick, so receptionist calls to acknowledge email and say who is handling it in my GPs absence within half an hour, but it seems the locum's idea of handling it is doing sod all. It'll be a week on Monday - formal complaint time.

I agree, I need a Colongram as I'm having quite severe bowel and stomach issues.

I've been told I can't have one as no hospitals are doing them for the foreseeable future due to the intimate nature of them and Covid risk. I even tried private hospitals and they aren't doing them either.

I've been told I can have an abdominal scan but it may miss what they are trying to rule out.

I'm so so worried, I'm 51 with a 13 year old and my symptoms are getting worse. The consultant has referred me for the other scan but the waiting list, as you can imagine is huge. But what if it misses something and it's the worse case scenario.

I know there are thousands of people in this position and a solution needs to be found. Our NHS is amazing and its not their fault this is happening.
