I thought A. Number of lines at base representing number of planes of symmetry.

Is there 4 planes of symmetry in the first shape? I thought there were two.

It's not planes of symmetry as there are only 2 in the first shape.

I guessed B as no straight lines, but seeing other people's answers I think A is right, otherwise the little lines at the bottom are pointless.

Let's hope DD is better than her mother at NVR when she does the 11+ in a few months!
